Location

Located in a prime waterfront district between Hong Kong, Guangzhou, and Macau, Tencent Wave Campus sits at a key confluence of city and sea. Stretched across a linear site in Dachan Bay, it will be strategically woven into the grid of the city- connected by metro lines, highways, planned roads, subway, and bridges that link the site to the city center and surrounding districts.

Five major districts characterize the Campus: Creating, Living, Learning, Interacting, and Working. To be developed over two phases, retail, entertainment, and community uses anchor the east side, while offices and residential towers create a distinct skyline along the west.

Read More program needs with an experiential green park above, much like JERDE's previously successful Namba Parks. Undulating planes of landscape with open courtyards allow natural daylight to enter deeply into the spaces. Complementing the Tencent brand, the Wave Park will be a place to learn and discover, while giving back to the Tencent community.

Smart transportation planning is at the heart of the Tencent campus, with planned roads, subways, and bridges providing strong connectivity to the surrounding district. Fast vehicular and other road traffic is confined to the inner roads, keeping it away from the waterfront.

The campus's residential community is composed of diverse residential options of single units, family units, and high-talent units as well as retail and supporting programs in the lower levels of the towers. Residents in the towers will have a magnificent view of undulating wave park plane as well as convenient access to supporting cultural and community programs.

Occupying over 250 acres, the Campus will be a substantial addition to the built landscape of Dachan Bay. From the surrounding neighborhoods, a playful visual landscape sprawls as a unique choreography of green public space, punctuated by captivating icons of architecture. Taken as a whole, the campus serves as a vision for a smart, sustainable, connected, and community-oriented future.
