We set out to creatively capture the client's objective of establishing a new paradigm of eco-tourism by creating the world's leading leisure and tourist destination. Pearl Island integrates culture, entertainment, business, leisure, fitness, and vacation with a cruise port as the core, through an integrated plan of eco-smart urban developments that deliver an environment that is innovative and iconic - a global tourist destination.

Inspired by the project namesake, the iconic symbolism of the pearl rising out of the depths of the sea - representing the eternal pursuit of wisdom, spiritual energy, and enlightenment - proposes a new landmark destination, manifested as a sustainable touristic and urban lifestyle.
The plan provides a collection of distinct districts, blending culture, entertainment, business, health, and nature, anchored with the cruise ship home port. Within these districts, we carefully organized an experience driven program.
The landmark towers inspired by the blooming of the lotus flower are the centerpiece of the island. The elegance and simplicity of the towers symbolizes the cultural and commercial ascension for the city of Haikou.
A central plaza acts as a communal hub for the island and transforms itself throughout the year to become a space for seasonal events and celebrations.
The wellness center & spa offers incredible vistas from within the villas and dramatic views of the seaside.
High-rise condos, apartments, lofts, and villas offer a versatile mix of luxurious living opportunities, all with breathtaking views of the city and sea.
