Sochi Doubletree by Hilton
- Sochi, Russia 2009
- Total Building Area: 24,782 sqm
The existing site is populated by a great number of old and new growth trees that provide a park-like setting for use by the hotel guests. The beach is approximately 300 meters away and reachable by foot. The Krasnaya Polyana mountains- site of the 2014 Winter Olympics- are clearly visible from the hotel and easily accessible by ground transportation. The site is adjacent to the Mzinta River, which carries water down from the mountains and is bordered by a pedestrian promenade that leads from downtown Adler to the beach. This unique location and close proximity to extraordinary natural elements inspired the interior design, while three major zones with distinctive design features compose the hotel: the Forest, the Mountain and the Sky.
