- Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico 2011
- Site Area : approx 16.5 hectares
The Nuevo Sur a development is a mixed-use project comprising 2,600 residential units, a 120 key hotel, 40,000 square meters of office space and 37,000 square meters of retail space on 16.5 hectares of land. Nuevo Sur is ideally located at the crossroads of Ave. Revolucion and Ave. Covarrubias offering commanding views of Cerro de la Silla while offering a complete community: a place where people live, work, play and stay. The integrated character of the master plan facilitates interaction between all the elements of the residents' lifestyle, functioning as a true city within a city: a place where shops of various sizes line the streets, office workers dine on restaurant terraces, residences mix with retail shops, restaurants overlook community parks, local vehicular traffic complements pedestrian activity, and well-designed open spaces form the foundation for community life. The mixed-use lifestyle center of the master plan is designed as a collection of streets and is envisioned as a local and regional destination that offers a unique shopping and dining experience that doesn't exist elsewhere in Monterrey.
